Challenge Definitions
Challenge 1 - Bridges. This includes all road, rail, air and suspension bridges and either old, new, ruined or being newly built .
Challenge 2 - Weathered- this challenge highlights objects that have been weathered by time or climate conditions. It does not focus on storms, clouds, wind or lightning, but rather the effects of these phenomena on objects/structures or the natural environments.
Challenge 3 - Breaking the Pattern - photos where a pattern of objects or natural forms can be seen and one or several objects or natural forms breaks the pattern. Both the pattern and the disruption must be visible.
Challenge 4 - Re-Create a Famous Painting with a Modern Twist.
The presentation by Carol Buys and the Visit to the Art Gallery to view the ‘From Monet to Matisse’ exhibition will give ideas for members to capture the essence, composition and/or mood of the painting while introducing a distinctly modern element.
The art work that inspires you must be included in the title.
